"When the size of the congregation requires it, the celebrant may be assisted by other bishops, priests, or deacons. If such ordinary ministers of Holy Communion are not present, the priest may call upon extraordinary ministers to assist him, i.e., duly instituted acolytes or even other faithful who have been deputed for this purpose."

If you are interested in becoming an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, please contact the parish office at (985)385-1280. Extraordinary Ministers serve at the weekend 4pm Vigil Mass, the 10 am Solemn Mass, and the 6:30 pm Evening Mass.
